This is one of the best videos i've ever seen!
i don't think anyone should underestimate the bonds that can be formed between humans and other animals...i've seen clips of lions and tigers playing with the humans who helped raise them after years of not seeing them. an amazing reminder that we are part of the natural world and can learn a lot from our animal friends.

I really like the new footer as well with the links and explanatory text. but it looks a bit bland. you need some pictures or something

Hey Gord, is it possible to get a user guide for the software youre using here? something to explain all the little functions I keep finding here and there?
it might save some questions in this forum!

When i;m in my Learning Domain I notice that sometimes there are blocks of text that don;t have a background...it's hard to read them against the graphical backgrounds. Can this be fixed?

Well i guess the "aura" is a magical quality...?

I've never seen the Mona Lisa but personally I don't mind museums at all
nothing wrong with museums - how else are you going to see this stuff?

can we upload our own?
That would be great!
PS I also like the fact that the forums pictures are smaller in this theme - they were too big in the other one

It's high time we had some Aussie slang resources on this site!

@Graham Barnett's hatred of Trump extends in all directions, to all forums and beyond

to which it never occurs to want except in the presence of what it wants
I think that is beautiful but I don't know if it's true of all genius or artists in general. I think lots of art is made through not knowing what one wants and sort of an an endless searching to find it?

+1 violence against women appalls me as a feminist.

Breathtaking..but i can't decide its a utopian Game of Thrones-like world or some post-industrial Trump capitalist hell

Moreover, it is profoundly philosophical and, I'll add, quite Schellingian!
Oh, not Schelling again!

So these aren't language errors per se but they do bend the rules of language logic

I was watching this program in Aus (where i live) last night called "Dna Nation" which is about three celebrities (Ernie Dingo, Julia Zemiro and IanThorpe) who have their DNA taken and their heritage traced back 2000,000 years. It's quite interesting but they kept talking about how DNA tells you "where you come from" and "who you are."
i don't know about all of you but while i find it interesting i don't think it tells me a lot about who i am.

But I don't think I know what the difference between unconscious and subconscious is anyway..
i think as gord said the difference is that the subconscious is still kind of conscious?
