What are your qualifications?
I have a Ph.D in English from The University of Western Ontario, which is a founding member of the U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities. I also hold a BA Hons. double-major in English and Humanities (magna cum laude) and an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from York University, Canada.
I have published articles in several scholarly journals, edited a volume of essays, and served as assistant editor on special issues of Symposium: The Canadian Journal of Continental Philosophy and the Broadview edition of William Godwin's Mandeville (Broadview, 2015). My first book, Romantic Metasubjectivity Through Schelling and Jung: Rethinking the Romantic Subject, was published June 2020 by Routledge.
I have also worked in the Study and Learning Centre at RMIT (Melbourne CBD) and have extensive experience helping undergraduate students with every conceivable kind of writing project - from Communications to Real Estate to Engineering to Fine Arts and more!
As a post-doctoral scholar and educator, I know what it's like to write under pressure. I also have experience writing successful funding grants and scholarship applications, which demands a clear and concise writing style. All this experience means I can to give my clients the edge they need in essays and written exams - both in focusing their writing and optimising their time.
Who better to guide a student to university (and beyond) than someone with experience teaching and assessing undergraduate English?
