The idea behind LiquidFractal.org is that of a fractal system: an experiential system based on adaptation and evolution. As Peter Fryer and Jules Ruis have suggested, it is "a complex, non-linear, interactive system which has the ability to adapt to a changing environment. Such systems are characterised by the potential for self-organisation, existing in a nonequilibrium environment. [They] evolve by random mutation [...] the transformation of their internal models of the environment, and natural selection. Examples include living organisms, the nervous system, the immune system, the economy, corporations, societies, and so on."
In this spirit, enter LiquidFractal.org; something fluid, malleable, protean yet not without a certain implied order...a site that will serve the needs of its owners and members as they change over time.
